Bubu Villa, Kampong Pasir Hantu

The food at Bubu Villa was nothing short of lovely. Breakfast offered freshly squeezed juice and a good array of fresh fruits, pastries, and delicious hot meals. I particularly loved the freshly made Nasi Goreng, which was one of the best I've ever tasted. The Italian cuisine, especially Angelo’s creations, provided a taste of Italy that I thoroughly enjoyed. The BBQ fish served on the beach in the evenings was another highlight of my dining experience.

I was amazed by the individual and private villas that Bubu Villa offers. Ours was set in a beautifully appointed, modern style within a private walled garden, providing the perfect escape. The attention to detail in the design made it a comfortable retreat while ensuring total privacy. The amenities were great, with a lovely outdoor shower that added to the tropical experience.

I found the open-air bathroom in my villa to be quite a unique and refreshing experience. It added a natural touch to my stay while also feeling luxurious. Despite the absence of a traditional door, the frosted glass partition provided an adequate level of privacy. The outdoor shower was particularly nice after a long day at the beach, making it a nice part of my experience.

The beach area was absolutely stunning, featuring dedicated sun beds that made relaxing in the sun an absolute pleasure. I especially appreciated the complimentary early evening cocktails served on the beach during happy hour. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of snorkelling, making my stay even more enjoyable, with the serene sound of waves in the background.
